Swan Song

If you liked the movie Time Bandits, then get ready for a virtual high-five because that movie was awesome. It's also a Terry Gilliam film. Although I'm not as well versed in the Terry Gilliam collection as some people are, everything I've seen directed by him (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Twelve Monkeys, Time Bandits, and the first twenty minutes of The Fisher King) is all eccentrically brilliant and deserving of my anticipation for his upcoming creation: “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.”

You might have heard of this movie around the time of Heath Ledger’s death. Ledger was playing the role of the conman Tony until he tragically swallowed too many pills and bit the dust. However as a way to salvage the film and as a tribute to Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped up to finish the film. Check out the clip of Ledger from “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” and prepare to be angered, saddened, dismayed, and confused once again at the loss of such great talent.
